The sleepy house
If I only learn how to use anything just as it should be, how will I explore and learn on my own? If you teach me everything, why would I learn something else? Won't you give chance to use creativity? If the house has to be standing as I play in it, why would I ever understand how it would be otherwise?!
Yes my house is sleepy. My energy is high but the exploration and learning could be at the cost of a few thousands but the learning is worth. There are multiple dreams in the house and yes let it sleep on, dream on. Let your children dream on.

Busy Basket
With the busy basket, mom can monitor and see hat I am doing and how I am I responding to several colors, shapes and sizes and help me explore, learn and see for myself. I love the busy basket idea and look forward to it everyday. Mom shared the idea on a social networking forum and she got amazing response from kids there too. Why don't you try for your toddlers the same?
Did I tell you my mumma is so creative and all that came from me when I was in her tummy :D

What am I up to?
April was mom and dad's anniversary month and we were all going out big time. I always had thought they were more at home as I was small and might stay so for another year. This month, we were zipping all around the city, going back to mom's favorite places, eateries and shopping. I like a good girl am observing everything and noting down what to buy and where.
I also did my first shopping for a shampoo that is as big as me :) Dad and mom don't specially prefer Pantene but because it is the first product I picked up off the shelf completely, dad got it and my-o-my how big that is! We are going to smell like Pantene for quite sometime :) What have you been up to lately?

My time with the Lord
A page from mamma's diary
Wee hours of the night.
Dim light.
All set to sleep.
No words, no signs and no lullabies.
Just Silence.
Enjoying her me-time cuddling mom.
Why should she giggle and laugh out loud all of a sudden?
Look at me, give that heartful and the cutest laugh again?
Turnaround, come back and hug me while still laughing?
Oh! yes, she was laughing not smiling.
I might laugh if some joke peeps in my mind.
But what can an year old think and laugh at?
My mind hasn't stopped thinking about what happened last night.
Was she playing with Angels? Was she sharing a joke with God?
Still puzzled, all I can say is GOD! YOU ARE AMAZING.

I was / am never forced to learn these. Mom and Dad say my learning should be full of fun and play but not of force.
This was kept along with another colorful chart for my visual stimulation. I fell in love with this chart from day I saw it more than the colorful one which is good too. 'V' is a special letter as my dad's name starts with it :-) .

Growing up - healthy options
Growing up is tough. Trust me!
First of all we have to learn a lot of things. We are almost a clean slate when we come, don't we? Now there are too many things happening all around and we have to just jump in and learn a lot in a short while before we can run this race and be a part of this amazing world. When you sit back and look at it, it is like boarding a running train. That too a super fast train and all you get is just a short while to look at it. God this is a tough job.
Okay while we are learning and training ourselves to take on this world, we are bothered by diseases and germs and what not. Now I am in good hands as mom and dad believe in alternative medicine and also that I should earn immunity(not the one like a pin on masterchef) but real immunity to strengthen myself and be ready to kick all diseases on my own with very little medication. I am not forced to take any medicines except for few drops of colpol and colic that too when I was too sick and weak when I was a little kid. Yep! I am all grown up now and am all of nine months :) No I am sorry, you will have to wait for my recent pics for a little more longer.

Ouch! I am hurt...
For the first time ever this evening at around 4:30 I fell down and hit the back of my head on floor.
I was siting and playing with some stacks and wanted to lean on pillows my mom usually keep. They weren't there and I hit my head badly. Mom and Dad were shocked and their hearts skipped a beat. Mom came running from kitchen and dad immediately held me in his arms. I cried for few seconds but cheered up when mom sang itsy bitsy spider. Dad took me out for a walk to make me feel relaxed. I love them so much.
Please tell them that it's quite normal to fall while learning to crawl and walk. Parenting is a tough job I guess. Tell me about the first time you fell.

Experimenting with spices
Do you give spices to your kids? Dad does! Now that is a secret(we have to keep from mom).
I loved the hot and clear chicken soup which I tried when I was four months! I am super happy with fish, chicken, mutton , spicy vegetables fries and curries. Of course they are toned down for me but I love nibbling small bits before searching for water.
I am brave(dad say's so) and I don't cry at all and make a fuss when I taste something different. I love experimenting with spices. I am yet to grow up and have the McSpicy and other snacks at MCD or KFC but till then I will try and taste what Dad gives me when mom isn't watching.
I guess I will be easy to cook for :)

Dad's fav song
Dad has a special technique of putting me to sleep. When I am drowsy he holds me close and sings this old classical christian telugu song from Andhra Chraistava Keertanalu. I love the song. It is pretty long and by the time he completes the song I am sound alseep.
Nanamma used to sing this to him when he was a child.
You know I have a choir duty at HIS Majesty's presence, don't you? :) All the little angels get to sing and praise him :)

I have a whole lot of bath toys. Yep so many :)

Of all, I love playing with this pink one, which is Ina. It fits in to my hand so easily and I get to play with it :) You should have seen me today.

My first movie!
I am trying to decipher what all goes on around me but here is the story dad told me with the nemo soft toy :)
A small clown fish named Nemo gets lost(that's what I understand) and his dad goes on an adventure trying to find him. Now Dad is very cautious to let Nemo go but in this case Nemo goes beyond dad's and his own and the circumstances point to a harder life. In the process of finding Nemo with an unexpected partner Dory, Dad gets to an adventure of a lifetime. I liked turtles and their cool attitude and mom is going to buy a good soft toy turtle. Nemo has his own adventure where he realizes that his dad wanted to guard him from all the evil but he has to win his own battles and come out a winner. In the end, they unite and realize that their bonding has only grown with the separation and they now love each other more.
It is a beautiful story with a lot of good animation and colors. I loved it. have to grow up and watch :) Bye for now. Gnite. Love you all. Goooo gu gu cooooooooooooooooooooo!

Hhhhh Hhhhh Cooo
I have learnt to draw attention easily. All I have to do is start a distress whimper Hhhhh Hhhh and mom comes running and then I turn that sad whimper to a delightful Cooooooooo at the top of my lungs. Mom still loves me and smiles when I do that. Apparently I am turning intelligent :)

Rhyme of the week
Mummy made a schedule for my learning. Hey, don't think she is putting me under stress. It's just a fun activity during my massage time and bedtime so that I enjoy as well as learn to listen. I do some exercising while listening to them :)
She said she will emphasise on one rhyme every day for a week so that I can store the rhyme in my memory bank. When I grow up and hear them again I ll learn fast.
