Rhyme of the week - "The wheels on the bus"

What a rhyme it is. I just loved it. I will ask mummy to sing this for me next week too.Mom acts for the rhyme and she makes me do actions for the lines. I love it when mom presses my nose tip with her finger for the line " the horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep...".  It's so fun that I can't stop myself from giving her a cute smile :).

Some history about the rhyme:

"The Wheels on the Bus" is an anonymous United States folk song dating to the mid-20th century. It is based on the traditional British song "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush". Mom sang that rhyme also but said I would be confused with both. She will continue with the US version for now. There are quite a number of verses in the rhyme. Many additional verses have been added to the song over the years, and from other countries.

Chinni pushpam

Mummy calls me by chooooo many names. Actually countless.
Bujji thalli, Bangaru thalli, chinni thalli, naanna, kanna, kutti , chitti, smiley baby, cutie baby, bubbly baby so on. Out of many like these the one I like is "Chinni pushpam", which means 'little flower'.

She says, Chinni pushpam...O naa Chinni pushpam... O mummy, I love you.

Rhyme of the week - Pat a cake

This week, the rhyme I am listening to is "Pat a cake". I'm loving it.

She told me that the origin of this rhyme is unknown but the earliest traceable publication is from 1698. Ohhh,,, quite an old one but the tradition of decorating cake with name or the initial of child's name is still adhered.

On my first birthday I will have my name written on my cake. That's why mom replaced B in the rhyme with A :)

 The rhyme goes like this:

Pat a cake, Pat a cake, baker's man,
 Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
Pat it and prick it and mark it with a 'B',
And put it in the oven for Baby and me.

Rhyme of the week

Mummy made a schedule for my learning. Hey, don't think she is putting me under stress. It's just a fun activity during my massage time and bedtime so that I enjoy as well as learn to listen. I do some exercising while listening to them :)

She said she will emphasise on one rhyme every day for a week so that I can store the rhyme  in my memory bank. When I grow up and hear them again I ll learn fast.

Busy bee

Dad is busy these days. Mom is taking care of me. I mean full time. Dad is working on something big and important. I am surprised he gets time to sleep, eat and run around! Mom plays a good sport by helping out with me.

I love spending time with him. I didn't see him at all today as he had to leave early for a couple of meetings and then the Indiblogger meet and two client meets after that. Once he came back he got a cute hair cut.

I was so happy to see him that I stopped playing with toys and scolded him for coming late. Mom and dad were shocked. I showed sadness, pain, happiness and forgiving when I saw him. My granny says I should speak less lest I get tired.

Dad kissed me and apologized for not spending time with me. I loved mom and dad.

There is so much that parents do to keep you happy, warm and comfortable that we don't know till we are parents ourselves!

Speed amuses me. This is my favorite sight for last few days.
Mom says the electrically powered ceiling fan was invented in 1882 by Philip Diehl.

Dedication at Grand pas

I am cute. So cute that you can't resist holding me. As of now am almost three months old and am already a handful.  We went to church today for the first time.  Pastor Ashish was there and prayed for me. Dad and mom were so happy

Pastor said children are a gift from god and it is a great responsibility to bring them up in God's ways. Dad spoke about how he is Lord's favorite son as he is lucky to have me ;) He testified that God was and is always good to him.

As its my first day in church we gave cup cakes and chips to all. All adults ate cakes and all kids loved the chips we got. I got so many compliments today. I look so good in my pink dress. Dad wore coffee colored tee and jeans while mom wore her new green top.

Grandpa, God was really good to me and my family.  Thank you Lord.

Vaccine time

My vaccination schedule. Dad doesn't believe in them but had to do for me.

How can two drops of watery medicine keep you safe from many diseases?  I don't know but had to go through so much as mom doesn't want to take risk.
So many injections and so much pain. I am brave you know.

Did you get vaccinated? Do you know anyone who didn't?

Story time

Mom read me her favourite story "Amelia Bedelia" by Peggy Parish. Loved the story.

I  know lot of language already. This story is about literal meanings and what they actually mean in usage. Mom read it and it's a lot of fun to listen to her.

Mom also told me  'The Thirsty Crow', 'The cunning Fox and the foolish Crow' and ' A Fox and a Crane' stories. She said they are classic stories which are being told since generations. She is going to tell me Cinderella and Snow-white stories tomorrow.

Ammamma told these two stories to mom  many times and these are her all time favourites. I am eagerly waiting for tomorrow :) .

Rattle

I found a good rattle app on S3!
It makes all the cute noises and is very entertaining.
I love playing with it.

2 months!

Am 2 already.  Learnt how to play and ask for my food and demand more attention. Dad mom and ammamma take good care of me. I call out cry and laugh a lot.
God has been good to me. Thank you Lord.

My first offering!

Gave my first offering today from my kiddy bank. Mom and dad were saving some money since they knew I was arriving and we broke it open today and gave to the Lord.

Every Sunday when I was in tummy my offering was accounted for. My contribution was more than what my mom and dad used to give.

Dad tells me giving to the Lord is the most happiest thing to do. God loves a hand who gives and rewards with joy.
