Father's day

Dad's day. You know what me and mom did on father's day to make my dad happy?

1. Mom made delicious andhra special gongura mutton curry. After all, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach :)

2. I gifted him dad's favorite perfume. He has been searching it for last few months but to no avail. I know what you guys are thinking. Oh!common, I have a kiddy bank. Mom and dad are saving my future pocket money in that.Mom took some money from that out and purchased the perfume.

When I grow up I will plan more and more surprises for dad because he is the greatest dad on the earth. Love you daddy. Mmmuahhh :)

Dad!

I seriously miss dad. Dad is busy with work these days. Too busy. I miss him big time. Mom tries to compensate by playing, singing but I miss him.

Dad leaves early, comes home late and plays with me for a little while before he falls asleep. He didn't take off in the last one month!

Today was a good day. We were together for the Sunday worship and I sat on Dad's lap worshipping in the songs and message. Thank you Lord!

Mom's complaint

Mom complains that I roll over and try to crawl only when dad is with me :) Yes, I do that.

Mom spends her whole day with me and she is very caring and protective. She gets worried with every movement of mine :). With her I always behave like a good girl. I never trouble her.

Dad allows me to do all my acrobatics. Do you know that he gave me a shower bath when I was just 3 months old?. Mom feels relaxed when he is at home handling me. She spends sometime watching TV and making some nice food while I play and fight with dad.

I rollover, kick, razz, scream, yell, sing, hit dad, scratch his cheeks. He never minds and allows me to be myself.

Mamma, now you know the reason? You will have a tough time when I start walking :). Till then just chill. Love you ma.

Peek-a-boo! it's my turn now.

Two months back mom started playing peek-a-boo with me and I shared my experience with you on April 08, 2013. Now I play it with mom and ammamma. This is my favourite game and I love to play it when ever mom puts a blanket on me.

Icecream sandwich

Dad is having an awesome icecream sandwich made by mom. It looks yummy.

When will I have mom?

Mom says, in a month, I can have solids and then I will also have lots of snacks :)

Fighting with dad

I love fighting with dad. I kick him, punch him, jab him and hit him with all my might while letting out Burce-Lee-type shreiks. He loves it too. His face and neck injuries, cuts from my nails and hits stand testimony to that. I might fight a lot but he loves fighting with me. I love the way he lets me play :)

I might fight with him for something else when I am grown up(I don't know what that means now) but   both of us have fun now :)

K! Back to hitting dad :)

Shopping time

Mom loves to dress me up and I love getting so much of attention from mom, ammamma and dad all the time. I know how to pose too. I know what you are saying. You have no photos of mine online yet, but trust me when I say, I am a great poser.

Mom and dad are getting ready to take me out on a good dinner outing and they are selecting places where to go and when. It has to be a weekday so they are sure I am not stressed and not too tired. It cannot be Mom's favorite restaurant: Barbecue Nation as I might be irritated by smoke from the sizzlers. Mom tells me she will take me there several times and I get to eat a lot of variants in veg and non veg. I am looking forward to it. Once the venue is finalized I will et you all know so you could join us :)

For all this, mom is planning to get me some really nice dresses. I have close to a hundred dresses already but I guess like all you wonderful ladies out there, mom isn't happy and wants to buy more :) You know what I think? I absolutely love it. Waiting to go shopping :)

My mom is Fedex

My mom is too good at tennis. In fact so good that she can beat Fedex. She has a mosquito bat and goes swooshing and hitting at the mosquitoes that dare to come in to our room!

I love seeing her do that. It is fun and awesome :)

Bangles time

Time to get some gold bangles for me. Nanamma is buying awesome ones for me. I am getting bangles, anklets and a lot of cool stuff from Nanamma. Dad wanted to buy a long time back but he wanted that to come from Nanamma's gold reserves! And lo! I am getting from there.

Dad tells me he will buy me several sets of those and I wanted to know if you know a place in Bangalore where I can get good designs, simple yet awesome ones, which are kid-friendly?

Wait till I put them up to show here :)

Today

Hello friends, Good morning!

I just woke up after a sleep marathon with mom. I won. She woke up first. I learnt something new today. I learnt how to wail when mom takes away toys from me. It works wonders and sends mom in to peels of laughter.

Cooking

Mom entered kitchen after a long time today. She cooked something special for dad. Here it is. A bit more milk to make it sugarless for ammamma too. I loved it :)

I am aching to go to kitchen and make some nice snacks for dad. I will be a great cook. Wont I?

Toy wash

I have lots of toys and I play with all of them. Most of them dad got from Bahrain last month.

Mom found an organic toy cleaning solution and got all my toys cleaned today. Here is the pic of some of the freshly cleansed toys.

The most fav of them is my pink dolphin Ina. The other ones are mina, dika, pillu and a lot more others.

Irritated

I am irritated today.

My hair is all tangled and I was busy playing with dad for the last two days and I am deprived of sleep.

Now that I am trying to sleep, there are so many noises - pump, utensils, water, power cuts and what not. I am irritated and so is mom. Dad is staying away from mom and is trying to cool me with so many kisses.

Mom loves to cuddle me and hold me and make sure a thousand times that I am fine and absolutely comfortable.

Okay am going back to sleep now. Good day to you all.

Dad, I miss you terribly. Please come back soon.

Grandpa is in town and dad is helping him to run some errands and hence he is away. I miss him! Come back soooooon. He is one of my pics with him :)

Nanamma!

Nanamma loves me. Did I tell you how much? Immeasurably hugely tremendously lots! She misses me a lot and I miss her too. After all we are two people in dad's life with the same name, caring and attention!

Today I spoke to nanamma and told her all my stories, what i did the whole day and how much I enjoyed playing with dad. She understood my coos and keees :)

In the rain.

Whoa! Whoa! now I know why mom loves rain. All these days mom and dad have shown me rains from distance. Today at around 6:30 pm mom took me for a walk outside my apartment and while coming back just in  no time it started raining. Mom had nothing to cover me except her dupatta and few raindrops touched me.Just before we could enter our house mom let me feel the drizzle for few seconds and I just loved it. If it was dad with me, he would have allowed me to drench a little more. I want to grow up very fast and play in the rain :)

'Tiny' the giraffe

'Tiny' the Giraffe, is my favourite Eco-friendly toy.

Mom and Dad try their best to be Eco-friendly. Dad works for an organization which promotes Eco- friendly communities and mom is always in to recycling and up-cycling some or the other at home.

May 12, 2013, 'Mother's day' (a page from my diary)

It's Mummy's second mother's day to celebrate. I was in my mummy's tummy last year. I was soooooo tiny. He...he...he... (giggles!giggles!).

Mom said that's her first and the best mother's day as the news of my existence was confirmed the same day :). Beautiful coincidence. Isn't it? Mummy called granny and gave the news as her mother's day gift. So lovely. I was all ears then lol...

Dad made mom's favourite Kheema curry to celebrate. He will never leave a chance to make her feel loved.

Happy mother's day Amma. I love you so much.

Bondas

Look what ammamma made for dad few days back. Dad likes snacks and this makes it just better especially because it was raining and rain came to Bangalore at last. 

I am yet to grow up to eat all these but I am waiting patiently now. Once I am ready, mom would make lots and lots of snackies for me :)

A sunny day affair

It was raining continuously for last few days and all my clothes were stacked up. It was sunny today hence mom washed all my clothes.

Mom uses a completely handmade, vegan and neutralized detergent to wash my clothes.
