My  first rattle

Rocking

I learnt how to play with the toys ( a monkey and a hippo ) on the rocker :)

I kick them, hit them with my hands :) We named the Monkey  'Amelia' and the Hippo 'Bedelia'.

Aaru Bangaru

Mom sings so many songs for me.

Of all Aaru Bangaru is one of my favs. I love the fervor with which mom sings it.

Nail cutting!

Dad tried to cut my nails today. I bled a little. He was devastated :( Mom was shocked. Dad said sorry many times. And kissed me. I was very brave. I didn't make a sound at all.

Its ok Dad. Love you mom.

Injection!

We went to doctor today. Dr. Bharath was good. I grew taller from the last visit.

Two injections. Apparently painless but by evening I got slight fever. I was brave and didn't cry at all. I just smiled :) Dad took a leave today. When dad takes leave, mom is super happy.

Mom, dad and ammamma stayed with me all day. I couldn't sleep on the bed. Dad or mom were holding me all through the day.

Ammamma came up with the idea of holding a wet cloth to my injection. It helped alleviate my pain and slept off blissfully. Thank you ammamma. Love you!

Aaaaa Maaaaa

Mom is teaching me to speak already. I can make sounds that mimic hers. Mom is teaching me to say Amma and I am learning in bits.

She likes when I am active and pout my lips. I could pronounce Aaaaa and Maaaa separately! Mom was so happy and clapped.

Ammamma is sick today. She was too tired today. Dad made breakfast, lunch and they had scrambled eggs and prawns for lunch. Dinner was rasam! Both ammamma and mom take good care of me and get so tired attending to me.

Evvaru Chesiri

Mom sang a new song for me today.

Pesky Mosquito

My first Valentines day

Dad gives mom flowers for no reason.How can he miss giving them on V-day?

He gifted mom a bunch of red roses and a black tee. First valentines day gifts from dad to me are 

a red top, a red cap and a fisher price rocker.Thank you dad.

Rocker!

I got a fisher price rocker and a set of roses as gift today. Dad did a lot of research about the rocker. Mom loved the roses :) Dad got me a cute little red frock, red cap and lots of dresses :) Mom said she will load pics.

I am still not comfortable sleeping in the rocker but have to learn so mom can rest. Mom helped fix it and set it up.

Today is Valentines day, my first! Wish you all a happy valentine.

Dad turns singer

Dad started looking thru Hebron book for kids and started singing some in his own tunes. We read Psalms too :)

Kisses

I learnt how to turn my cheeks asking for more kisses from dad today.  Left, right, left, right and a huge wide grin :)

Play time with angels

I speak to angels and play with them secretly.Today mamma caught me in the wee hours :).

Chuk chuk bandi

Mom sang so many songs today for making me laugh. I want to sing like her. So I listened carefully. the one I loved was Chuk Chuk Bandi! It is about a train and a ride :) Apparently singing keeps small kids like me happy and increases my creativity!

Dad told me the Mosy story :) We dozed off late and refreshed :)

Dosa time!

See what we had at home today. My granny made them for mom n dad. I shud grow faster :)

There's a little little girl...

Finally Dad is inspired by mom's creative singing skills (giggles!giggles!).
He became a singer, writer and composer for me last night. He sang a new song for me today.
The song goes like this.

"There's a little little girl in Noah's boat...
  There's a little little girl in Jonah's boat...
  There's a little little girl in Jesus's boat..."


I liked the song veryyyy much. Mom says dad is a good writer and a poet.
Mom teases dad about the song but she sings it for me when he is not at home :).

My first return gift

Today is Priya's (neighbour ) birthday and look,what I got as a return gift. He.. he...  a thoughtful gift indeed.

I love you Dad, choooooooo much. Thank you for being awake all these nights and taking care of me even after having a busy and tiring day at work. I know, all you could get was two hours of sleep.I feel secured when I sleep on your shoulder.

Mommy says you love me more than anything and any one (including her) in this world :). Thank you Daddy...mmmuuuahhhhh.

Nap time!

Was restless the whole day today. Dad was awake till 415 today and then slept. He was late to office :(

Mommy took good care of me all day. I was sleeping on her lap all thru the day. Mom played Psalms and I rested listening to Dad.

Dad got a military hair cut today :) His hair was irritating me it seems(mom said).

Played with dad and we dozed off for sometime.

Spoke to J Sr today. J Sr is my nanamma :) She loves my voice! She said I shud be a good girl and not cry :) I said mmmm meeeyyy maaaa ooouUuyYy. :D

Badam effect

I have loads of hair and my nails have grown beautifully. Dad tells me mom took good care of me when she was carrying me with a steady diet of badam and milk :) I look beautiful anta :D

Jessie's Bday

Celebrated akka's bday today. Akka and peddamma had come home to help granny! We cut cake and had a lot of fun. I was like a good girl and slept most of the time. Akka gave me a kiss and I didnt get to have cake :( Have to wait anta.. Dad kissed mom :D She was fab wearing a superb green dress. I was in my pink best.

I had milk and dozed off in to the night. See ya all.

Colic!

I have colic anta.. mom said. I have some uneasy feverish pain and am feeling low. Dad kissed me and prayed. I was crying all through but with a little love and care and few drops of medicine I felt better. Dad hugged me and kissed me and prayed. I slept off in his arms with my head resting on his shoulder. It was superb.
